Not the site, just the blog :D
Here's the link to the new page: Lavender Lanes Blog

Enjoy! :D

Spring is my favorite season because everything is new again. It's like an explosion of green and flowers everywhere, and in spite of my allergies, I love it.
Spring also means breeding season! I could not WAIT to get some of my does bred, and now we are sitting on 13 babies with another litter on the way. It's so exciting to have these wriggly little popples in nest!!
Aberdeen has 6 little does, all broken castors (a little bummed as I wanted a buck from this litter, but ah well! Life always has other plans!) and Keykey has 7, all castors and lynxes and maybe an opal!! I had no idea Arty carried dilute, let alone chocolate. That's pretty exciting! :D Bert, resident meany butt (she gets a pass though because she is SO pregnant...there's gotta be a whole colony of babies in there!), is due any day now.
We haven't been actively breeding the sables, so this is our first litter in a long time and I cannot wait. I feel like a puppy being taunted by a delicious bacon strip.
KITS! KITS! I LOOOOOOOVE KITS!!!
Anywho!! LOL.

On a different note, here's a link to an awesome article I think every breeder should read...would definitely change some attitudes in the showrooms if everyone had this mindset!!
The Kefla Project's "Beating the Standard"
I will try to post an interesting rabbit-related article in each entry!

Enjoy! Hopefully the next entry will be about sable babies!! :D :D :D
